Sat 5 May 2018 - 5.5 miles - GLYNDE/FIRLE VILLAGE/CHARLESTON HOUSE - Leaders: Sharyn, Angela
Starting at the village of Glynde heading for Firle through the South Downs National Park with a chance to see the Church of St Peters and an opportunity to visit Charleston House, 17th Century Farmhouse and rural base of the Bloomsbury Group. Lunch: Picnic/Pub - 17th Century Ram Inn at Firle village. The oldest part of the building is thought to be medieval complete with resident ghost, that of an old washerwoman with wooden leg? Clearly not a Rambler.
