February 2026 - Our group has funded a new kissing gate in the Chilterns AONB.

As you can see from the photographs, the new gate replaces an awkward and potentially hazardous old stile. So it is good that our group can contribute, even in a small way, to making the countryside safer and more accessible for walkers.
The new gate is located about 2.5 miles from Gt. Missenden Station. I will be leading a group walk this summer to visit this and two other nearby South Bank funded gates.
The installation was carried out for us by the Chiltern Society as part of their Donate a Gate scheme
