South Bank Ramblers

Saturday 07/09/2024 - OXFORD JUBILEE WALK  - Leader: Kleo Z

The walk begins in the centre of Oxford then transitions into Oxfordshire countryside. It takes in a good mix of
sights and terrains along the River Thames, over the farmlands and through Chilswell Valley, passing North
Hinksey, Boars Hill, from where one can enjoy the vision of Oxford. The latter part of the walk crosses land
owned and managed by the Oxford Preservation Trust. The walk finishes along the Thames Path passing the
University boathouses. Lunch: at Fox Inn or picnic in the garden.
