South Bank Ramblers

Wednesday 11/09/2024 - HUNGERFORD CIRCULAR - Leader: Dick D

Hungerford is a small and pretty town on the River Dun, the Kennet and Avon Canal and the A4 Bath Road. We
walk down the High Street and through open country (briefly entering the South West) to a picnic or pub lunch at
Froxfield. From there we return along the canal and marsh land and past the church to Hungerford, where pubs
and cafés are available, before catching the train back.
