Wednesday 18/09/2024 - LEWES TO SALTDEAN - Leader: Sue E
At a moderate pace with a couple of long fairly steep ascents up the ridges of the South Downs and following the
South Downs Way. Great views from the wide open tops which are quite exposed if it is windy or very hot. We
stop for lunch in Rodmell (the village where Virginia Woolf lived.) We then walk via Telscombe to Saltdean to pick
up a bus to Brighton and train back from Brighton to London. Loos on train and in Lewes. Map E122 A Saturday
Walkers Club walk.
