Wed 18 June - CHORLEYWOOD TO CHESHAM VIA CHENIES - Anthony A
A walk through the Chess Valley and the tranquil Chiltern Hills with some superb panoramic views. The walk is undulating with a number of steep ascents. For lunch the walk climbs up to the village of Chenies where there is a pub, but bring a packed lunch. There is the Church of St Michaels in the village, former home of the Russell family, well worth a visit during the lunch break. Afternoon walk parallel with the Chess valley passing Latimer House before eventually descending into Chesham. Drop-out points: none.
