Sat 28 June - AMERSHAM TO HIGH WYCOMBE VIA FORTY GREEN - Geoff S

A moderate stroll through south Buckinghamshire. We walk south in the morning and west in the afternoon. A partly wooded walk crossing over the Chiltern way twice. Lunchtime drink at Forty Green in the' Royal standard of England' pub. (12th century). No major hills nor level all the way. A mixture of paths and bridleways with only half a mile of pavement as we get nearer town.
