Wed 23 JUL 2025 TONBRIDGE CIRCULAR VIA TUDELEY WALK -Hilary J
This varied walk takes in a low-lying area of parkland, farm fields, paddocks, orchards and a country park of historical interest in the Medway Valley around Tonbridge. This includes the chance to visit a unique church because its twelve stained glass windows were all designed by the great 20 C Russian artist, Marc Chagall. The remainder of the afternoon is a loop through Haysden Country Park to the west of the town, a popular recreational area alongside the River Medway with large fishing and sailing lakes created after sand and gravel extraction ceased. No drop outs due to infrequent bus service but walk can be shortened at Haysden Country Park.
