At the start of this lovely and enjoyable walk we go through Coworth Park, with its polo playing fields, to enter the 4,800 acres of Windsor Great Park. We pass near Virginia Water (a lake), Valley Gardens (which overlook it), Windsor Great Park (a forest and deer park) and the Long Walk to Windsor Castle. At Windsor there is an opportunity to explore its oldest streets and the many inns, cafes and restaurants.
