South Bank Ramblers

Sat 11 OCT 2025  PADDINGTON BASIN TO REGENT'S PARK - Hilary J

A lovely 6 mile walk starting at Paddington station then along to Paddington Basin, an area that has been transformed into a vibrant destination. We pass by the floating Fan Bridge and Rolling Bridge which are fascinating feats of engineering. We follow the Grand Union Canal to Little Venice and then continue the walk along Regent's Canal towards Regent's Park famous for its stunning Regency architecture and landscapes. A lovely walk around the park also visiting the Inner Circle 'Queen Mary's Gardens'. As we leave the park we follow a traffic free road to Baker Street Tube Station. This is an urban walk with well maintained paths, some road walking and stairs.
