From Godalming we walk by the River Wey and then on through fields and woodlands to the village of Compton and the Watts' Gallery and Chapel. G F Watts was an admired Victorian artist a portraitist, landscape painter and sculptor. Mary Watts was a renowned designer, founder of the Compton Pottery and creator of Watts' Chapel.
We then follow the North Downs Way back to the River Wey and into Guilford.
