Flat walk (combined ascent 90 metres) mostly hard surfaces, couple of places could be muddy. The walk passes through a variety of interlinked green spaces, nature reserves and SSI. Includes site of Hornchurch Airfield where Spitfires used in the Battle of Britain were based. Views of London skyline. Lunch: Picnic or cafe at visitors centre
