South Bank Ramblers

Sat 25 May 2019 - 10 miles - ROYSTON NORTH EAST CHILTERNS CIRCULAR - Leader: Martin F

A fine walk through the fields and beech woodlands to the south of old Royston market town crossing over the undulating chalk escarpment of this part of the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire border. There are fine views throughout particularly from Therfield village and Therfield Heath. Royston chalk is very muddy and sticky during a wet spell so sticks could prove useful. Lunch: Picnic/Pub (Fox & Duck ) in Therfield Village.
