Across country to Margate then along the cliff top to Broadstairs where the annual Dickens Festival should be in full swing. Mainly on level well surfaced paths. Lunch: Plenty of choice at Margate

Outward walk from Broadstairs, we stop at Drapers Windmill;

We come down to Stone Bay at Broadstairs – haunt of our leader;

In time at Broadstairs Viking Bay to catch the Dickens Festival in full swing.
