Mon 29 July 2019 - 9.5 miles - SHARPENHOE CLAPPERS - HARLINGTON CIRCULAR - Leader: Dave H
The walk takes us across a mostly rolling agricultural landscape followed by a short but very steep climb onto "Sharpenhoe Clappers", one of the most northerly escarpments in the Chilterns, giving great views. Returning to Harlington via the Sundon Hills Country Park. Lunch: Pub or picnic lunch in Streatley

Steep climb to the top of Sharpenhoe Clappers. One Rambler counted over 140 steps – all very uneven

But the view from the top was worth it
