Sat 22 February 2020 - 5 miles - MEDIEVAL AND REVOLUTIONARY CLERKENWELL - Leader: Martin F
A unique meandering walk exploring the paths and passageways of the old village of Clerkenwell once outside the City of London standing amongst fields, watermills and windmills. Stopping along the way to visit places associated with crime, punishment, sanctuary and intrigue from medieval times to Dickensian London and beyond. Lunch: Picnic lunch in St James Church or pub lunch in local hostelries.
