Moderate pace through woods and a vineyard, on the shoulders of the Surrey Downs, via the National Trust's Polesdon Lacey (no access to the house but use of café possible). Last minute Christmas shopping at Polesdon Lacey and Denbies with their Christmas tinsel. Some ups and downs through Norbury Park and Ranmore Common but great views.
Lunch: Picnic or cafe at Polesdon Lacey. NT card not needed
