South Bank Ramblers

Saturday, 16 April 2022 - NORTH DOWNS WAY - STAGE 7 - HALLING TO AYLESFORD - 14 miles - Leader: Nick W

The NDW is a 153 mile walking route from Farnham, Surrey to Dover, Kent.
A brisk walk climbing steeply from Halling back up to the Downs and then crossing the spectacular Medway Bridge (a head for heights is needed) before climbing again to give good views of the river and Rochester. We then descend past the neolithic Kits Coty to finish at Aylesford. There will be a few steep hills and some walking on tarmac.
Lunch: Robin Hood pub or Blue Bell Hill picnic site
