A walk along the Eden Valley, taking in no less than three castles and Penshurst Place. Mostly level riverside walking. We will visit the grounds of Chiddingstone Castle (no charge to tour the grounds or the excellent tea rooms). Please note that we are not intending to visit the actual castle at Chiddingstone or Penshurst Place (there is a charge for both). Those who wish to stay to see them must make their own arrangements including the return journey.   
Lunch: Picnic or possible pub at Penshurst
