South Bank Ramblers

Wednesday, 8 June 2022 - HYDE PARK TO PUTNEY BRIDGE - 9.5 miles - Leader: Caroline K

This urban walk takes in the contrasting green spaces of Hyde Park and Holland Park, Brompton Cemetery and Westfield Park en-route to Chelsea Creek waterfront. We then follow the Thames Path westward, crossing the river at Wandsworth Bridge, and again at Fulham Railway Bridge, to finish at Putney Bridge Station. Mainly easy terrain with a few sections of street walking and some steep steps; several drop out points.
Lunch: At Brompton Cemetery; cafe or picnic.
