02 APR 2025 RIDGEWAY FROM TRING STATION VIA IVINGHOE BEACON  - Richard H

 The walk starts at Tring Station in open country next to the Ridgeway and follows the chalk escarpment overlooking the Vale of Aylesbury  to Ivinghoe Beacon. From there the route takes us through woods on the Ashridge Estate. Toilet and Lunch facilities are available at the National Trust Visitor Centre near the Bridgewater Monument. The walk returns to Tring Station via the village of Aldbury. There are excellent views available from the Ridgeway Ivinghoe Beacon and the Bridgewater Monument with 172 steps to a viewing galle
