Wed 28 August 2019 - 10 miles - LEWES TO SALTDEAN VIA VIRGINIA WOOLF'S MONK'S HOUSE - Leader: Sue E

Moderate pace with a couple of long ascents up the South Downs ridges (great views!) to Rodmell to visit Monk's House and garden (National Trust £6.30) Then walk to Saltdean for bus to Brighton for return to London. Possible drop out at Rodmell with return from Southease Station.(7.5 miles) Lunch: Picnic or pub stop in Rodmell for those not spending time in the house.
