Meet outside Stratford Station, follow signs for the Town Centre exit (NOT the exit for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield). Once through the barriers veer right towards "Robert" the heritage locomotive.This largely flat walk will be walked at a moderate to brisk pace.We will follow the Capital Ring along the River Lea navigation with diversions through Hackney Marsh and Walthamstow Marsh, onwards to Stoke Newington through Springfield Park, Abney Park, Clissold Park, Woodberry Wetlands, then along the New River to Finsbury Park, and ending in Finsbury Park Station.

1. Rendezvous by Robert the locomotive at Stratford station.

2. We head off across the bridge to shops and the Olympic Park.

5. Genning up on Walthamstow marshes
