Monday, 5 July 2021 - OXTED CIRCULAR EAST VIA LIMPSFIELD - 9 miles - Leader: Paul T

This will be a highly varied walk to the east of Oxted. We will walk through Oxted to West Heath and briefly visit Limpsfield village before heading to Limpsfield Chart where we will stop for a picnic lunch at a green space with benches. We then largely follow a mix of woods and heaths for most of the afternoon, including parts of the Greensand Way. We will have some wonderful views before returning via West Heath to Oxted and the station.

The church of St Peter’s has the graves of several musicians, including Frederick Delius (composer), Norman del Mar (conductor) and  Jack Braymer (clarinettist).
