We are now 2/3 of the way round the London Loop. The route continues across north London, through woodland and grassland, partly following Dollis Brook. There are two unofficial detours to reduce the amount of roadwalking: one past a beacon which carried news of the Spanish Armada, the other to avoid having to walk along both sides of the A1 - we still have to walk along one side to the subway. Picnic lunch.
