Saturday, 2 April 2022 - GREENWICH RIVER WALK TO TOWER BRIDGE - 9 miles - Leader: Martin F
A meandering river walk including the back alleys and pathways of old Greenwich, Deptford and Rotherhithe . A choice of a break at The Angel or Mayflower pub in Rotherhithe may then help the last leg to Tower Bridge. The route along the Thames has stops and points of interest to do with the maritime and social history of shipping and docklands, as well as, sweeping views of riverscapes old and new. There are drop off points at Surrey Quays and Rotherhithe for the Overground railway.
Lunch: The Dog and Bell pub in Deptford or a picnic in Twinkle park nearby.
