At a relaxed pace the walk climbs out of Guildford to Pewley Down and the North Downs Way and on to Newlands Corner where there is a cafe and toilets for a late morning break. Then on to the small church of St Martha’s for a picnic lunch. The return to Guildford is along the river Wey. Two steepish climbs.
