To ensure that the walk details appear correctly, we are asking walk leaders to ensure that Ramblers has your up-to-date contact information and contact permissions. In order to do this, we are asking you to carry out the following actions:-
- Visit the Ramblers website https://www.ramblers.org.uk/ and click on Sign In at the top of the page.
After successful login, you will be taken to the My Account Welcome screen. - Click on the My Details link and ensure that the details shown are correct, in particular make sure that it includes the mobile phone number that you want shown in your walk details.
Press Save Changes which will return you to the My Account screen - Now click on the Walks Manager link towards the bottom of the screen which takes you to the Walks Manager Welcome screen (you may be asked to log in again)
Click on the Person icon
at the top right hand side of this screen and then click on option: Contact Preferences
Under the heading Permission, tick the boxes alongside:-
"I give permission for my display name to be displayed on walk and event pages"
"I give permission for my contact number to be displayed on walk and event pages"
Press Save - Your contact details should now appear correctly when you enter a new walk. If they do not, please contact the walks team on
